Dozens of families on the east coast of England could be forced to abandon their homes as coastal erosion threatens to doom their properties to the sea.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A recent report by\u00a0climate group One Home estimated that coastal homes in England worth a total of \u00a3584million could be lost to cliff collapses by 2100.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The report accounts for\u00a02,218 homes across 21 coastal communities that have been brought closer to crumbling cliffs over the years.<\/p>\n
Some homeowners expressed nervousness about having children stay overnight while others say they\u00a0are too scared to cut the grass holding together the narrow stretches of turf along the cliff edges.<\/span><\/p>\n Grenadier Guard Lance Martin, 65, is among the householders in Hemsby, Norfolk who may be forced to move homes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
