There have also been concerns that the London market is losing its allure to businesses, as many have been eyeing listings in New York.<\/p>\n

Medica’s board has urged shareholders to back the takeover swoop, which it said would allow investors to realise their shares \u2018at a value that reflects the future growth potential of the business.’<\/p>\n

Its suitor believes Medica will be \u2018better able to achieve its full potential in a private market setting’.At 221p per share, the bid represents a 32 per cent premium to Medica’s closing price on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
