Nancy Xu has been a part of the Strictly professionals team for years but has never been giving a dancing partner. However, this year, the pro dancer was partnered with CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson.
Last night, September 25, Nancy and Rhys dazzled judges Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke, by dancing the Viennese waltz to ‘End of the Road’ by Boyz II Men.
The judges were visibly impressed and Motsi even called Rhys “a talent”.
Anton agreed, saying that the CBBC presenter’s footwork was “immaculate”.
But what was Nancy and Rhys’ body language like?
Body language expert Judi James analysed the pair’s dance routine and spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about the deeper meanings behind it.
She said: “There is some truly fascinating chemistry from this couple that should make for some interesting developments over the weeks.
“When Rhys arrived last week, he was a bundle of energy and confidence, breaking out into dance moves of his own at the drop of a hat.”
The body language expert noted that Nancy and Rhys seemed close in last night’s performance and the rehearsals running up to it.

She said: “Nancy seemed like his soulmate with a display of what looked like matching childlike excitement.”
However, the body language expert claimed that the professional dancer is serious in her role of teaching Rhys and is “strict” with him.
Judi continued: “It is clear from this week that Nancy is a very, very disciplined teacher and a bit of a fun-free zone.
Rhys is more likely to be this year’s champion based on an analysis of past winners, according to Bookmakers.tv.
A spokesperson for the website said: “With 19 years of Strictly Come Dancing to look back on, we analysed the previous winners to look at characteristics seeing who is most likely to win this year’s show according to our research.
“History tells us that the two most likely professions to take the crown or tiara are presenters and actors.
“Rhys Stephenson is such a similar fit to the average strictly winner profile, and at third favourite, he could be well worth a punt.”
Judi agreed, saying: “Rhys clearly has the potential to win.”
“Nancy clearly sees that, but it will be fun to watch how she manages to harness his extrovert enthusiasm and energy to create something spectacular,” the body language expert added.
